Jeremiah

A boy is set over nations: to pluck up, to pull down, to build and to plant.

Broken cisterns, a potter's house, and seventy years named for the land.

A scroll is burned, a prophet is thrown in the pit, and the city will not hear.

Egypt, Moab, Edom, and Babylon: the cup goes round, then Babylon herself drinks.

The city is taken, the house is burned, and the people are carried away.
